EAV Tennis Club — Fall Season
Six weeks of friendly, structured doubles play for adults and youth, right at Brownwood Park. All skill levels welcome — beginners too. The inaugural fall season kicks off September 14, with a league launch party on September 13.

Not ready for league play? The free drop-in meetup runs the 4th Sunday of every month, 3:00–4:30 PM, March through October.
The East Atlanta Strut
The neighborhood’s signature street festival since 1998 — a parade, artist market, live music, food, and the full East Atlanta spirit on display. Entirely volunteer-run, with proceeds returned to the neighborhood as grants.

Brownwood Bike Rally
A neighborhood favorite for families and cyclists of all ages — kids’ races, tyke cycling, adult races, and a day of festival fun at Brownwood Park. Every lap supports the East Atlanta Kids Club’s year-round youth programs.

EAV-o-Ween
One of Atlanta’s most beloved Halloween traditions: a family-friendly afternoon of trick-or-treating at Village businesses, costume contests for kids, adults, and furry kids, and plenty to keep everyone in the neighborhood after dark.

EAPN Fall Fest & Costume Closet
The East Atlanta Parents Network’s fall gathering — plus the Costume Closet, where neighborhood kids can find (and pass along) Halloween costumes. Details are on the way; follow along for the announcement.
Parking, getting around & making a day of it
Getting there
- —If you’re in the neighborhood, walk or bike — festival days fill the streets around Brownwood Park quickly, and two wheels beat four.
- —For the Strut, organizers have arranged free parking at nearby churches in recent years, with a shuttle from the southern lot — check eastatlantastrut.com closer to the date for this year’s map.
- —Rideshare drop-offs work best on the edges of the Village rather than in the heart of Flat Shoals & Glenwood.
- —Arrive early for kids’ races and costume contests — the best spots (and shade) go first.
